Do I need a professional to install my gas firepit?

Yes you will need a gas fitter to hook up your gas firepit. Prior to purchase make sure there is either a gas line installed or access to one for the firepit. All gas lines must be ran according to local code requirements. If you are unsure if your property will work contact a local gas fitting company for further details.

Which type of firepit should I buy: wood, or gas?

There are many different types of firepits. So regardless of your situation, you can’t miss a firepit that’s perfect for your space. If you have access to natural gas, that is the preferred method. However CiM offers a wood burning fire boulder option as well. There are many places where bylaws restrict wood burning firepits, so check your local bylaws prior to purchase.

Free delivery is not included with the purchase of a firepit. Talk with your local Dealer for all delivery details.

Do firepits use a lot of energy?

The energy usage varies on how often the unit is being used, and at what level the firepit is on. Minimal increases in gas charges have been reported from past clients.

What is the firepit made from?

Each firepit is built with an aluminum frame for a strong, light weight and rust-free structure. The frame is clad with cement board, and the stone is adhered using crack proof thinset mortar. The stone or concrete tops are custom made for each unit, and most are a one piece construction subject to material allowances.

The gas insert by Crystal Fire Plus, and key valve must be installed by a licensed gas fitter.
